Privacy Notice

1. Controller and contact

Contact Tarvigo about privacy at support@tarvigo.com. Tarvigo’s legal entity name, Business ID and registered postal address must be published here before the service launches; they are not yet configured in this development environment.

If Tarvigo appoints a data protection officer, this notice will also include that officer’s contact details.

2. Data we process and why

Tarvigo processes data to perform its agreement with users, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, service improvement and dispute handling, or—where required—on consent. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.

• Account and contact data, such as name, email address, phone number, language and account-security information, to create and secure accounts and communicate about the service.
• Task, offer, message, review and support data, to operate the marketplace, enable participant communication, handle support and disputes, and maintain a reliable service.
• Provider business, identity and verification data, including Finnish Business ID and supporting evidence where provided, to assess provider eligibility and meet marketplace-traceability obligations.
• Technical, security and usage data, such as log, device and session information, to prevent abuse, troubleshoot and protect the service.
• Anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, country, browser and device type) from a self-hosted analytics tool that uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Visitors are counted with a short-lived hash that cannot be traced back to you, and browsers that send Do Not Track are not counted.

3. Sharing and international transfers

Tarvigo shares personal data only when necessary: with the other marketplace participant after the relevant workflow permits it, with service providers that host, secure, communicate for or support Tarvigo, and with authorities or others when law requires it. Exact address and contact information are not shown to providers until an offer is accepted.

If data is transferred outside the EEA, Tarvigo will use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, and provide further information on request.

4. Retention and protection

Tarvigo keeps data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including applicable limitation, accounting, safety, dispute, audit and legal obligations. Anonymous task drafts are retained for up to 48 hours and claimed drafts for up to 7 days unless submitted or discarded sooner. Other retention periods must be set in Tarvigo’s production retention schedule before launch.

Tarvigo uses organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data; restriction of or objection to processing; and portability of data you provided. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact support@tarvigo.com to make a request. Tarvigo may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or the supervisory authority in your habitual residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement.

6. Automated tools and updates

Tarvigo may use automated tools to help structure a task description or identify potential content risks. These tools do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. Tarvigo will update this notice when processing changes materially and, where required, notify affected users before the change takes effect.
